Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring 2010

Elie Saab has one of the best Haute Couture lines. is always so Glamorous and sparkly colorful you can always expect to have a celebrity wearing one this gowns to the oscars. but this season he tone down a bit. this season was more romantic full of pastel dusty colors, soft and beautiful. when people think of haute couture the first thing that comes to mind is something extravagant full of bright colors, extra sparkly, Unique. but Elie Saab can prove everyone wrong you dont need to be extravagant to stand out and be one of a kind.

Givenchy Couture Spring 2010

There's a dark side to Riccardo Tisci, it gives his collections an Edge but in his latest collection for the Givenchy Haute Couture Spring 2010, there was a brighter side to Tisci and it worked out well. just like he use pastel colors in his spring/summer 2010 ready to wear collection. I am pleased with both collections they were both beautiful they show the culture of the house of Givenchy. am in love with the mix of colors in this Haute couture collection. like this gown that starts Dark in the bottom and it gets lighter as it goes up. and what can I say about the feather shorts and over the knee high boots. Fierce. Ricardo Tisci has proven to the fashion world that he is an amazing ready to wear designer but I believe that he has proven that he is an amazing couturier as well.

Christian Dior Couture Spring 2010

John Galliano has put his name up high since he has been working for the fashion House of Christian Dior, and anyone who loves fashion can agree with me. He has a vision, he is a true artist. this Haute Couture collection is romantic and takes you to different era. This collection had beautiful cocktail dresses, and some amazing jackets with embroidered flowers that glimmered the catwalk, beautiful Satin Ball Gowns which cannot be absent at a Dior collection, Veils, hats. Galliano portrayed a vivid Image of his inspiration which was A picture of a women riding sidesaddle, that he saw at the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum. And the girls looked ready to go riding, this collection was powerful it capture the essence of an elegant women but yet strong and sophisticated. This is a new look for the house after two past seasons inspired by lingerie but yet traditional keeping the aesthetic and Integrity of the Fashion House of Christian Dior.

I dream of one day being the future of fashion Design, and since I yet don't know how to make clothes for real people i found this 12" life form manikin at the local art supply store she is awesome and I decided to take pictures of her so Everyone can meet her and I will try to make clothes for her, and will post them in my blog hope everyone likes it. oh and by the way I named her Ajuma.

Emilio Pucci Spring/Summer 2010

Sexy Mermaids thats what first come to my mind when I see the latest spring/summer collection from Emilio Pucci, Peter Dundas brought a collection inspired by the sea, full of beautiful aquatic prints, short mini-dresses revealing some skin with see through fabric. and some of the best swimwear from the spring/summer collections. i really love this collection Emilio Pucci can't never go wrong .

Versace Spring/Summer 2010

This season Versace is Young, flirty not what we are use to seeing in a Versace collection. Donatella Versace proved that she is not a designer of one look. her collection this season was full of excitement from leather metal studded mini skirts, and full of vivid pastel colors, super tight body suits paired with a super sexy see through plastic mini skirt, Cartoonish busy colorful prints, inspired by Alice in wonderland, Metallics, Geometric prints. Where else could you find all of this but in A Versace collection. I sense sensuality in the air of this Versace collection and just looking forward for the next collections to come from Donatella Versace. Sexy but not Vulgar!

HELP HAITI

I want to give all my prayers to the impoverish island of Haiti. That was struck by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake on Jan 12. please everyone that can should give a little bit of help, there's a lot of people in the country who can donate a dollar or two to the people who really, really needed right now. I want to thank God for people like Wyclef Jean who are over there right now giving as much help as possible, hope that the number of dead don't go up . please help out. Just think about the people out there, the kids and what u would do if you were in their places, we are fortunate to be here safe, and to be in a country that we are most likely to get some help.
