FASHION MONSTER SPRING/SUMMER 2009/2010

YEFFRI MURILLO:

I made this dress for my doll Ajuma, and was inspired by two of my favorite collections from the spring summer 2010 shows, I wanted to create a sporty, sexy look which is what spring summer 2010 is all about. This summer is all about being comfortable and looking sexy, the look to go for is sporty chic.

INSPIRATION:

GUCCI S/S 2010

ALEXANDER WANG S/S 2010

Paris Fashion week Fall/Winter 2010

Christian Dior:
John Galliano kept the equestrian theme and eighteenth century fashion, that we saw in the latest Haute Couture fashion show and Karlie Kloss just made the show even better with her unique walk, she is definitely the it girl for the house of Dior. opening its latest collections. this collection was amazing like always: Chiffon Ruffled dresses, thigh high boots, thigh high ruffled stockings "sexy" and lots of leather. the only thing missing was a saddle and a horse hmm! that would've gave me a fashiongasm.

Chloe:

Chanel:
Karl Lagerfeld was thinking winter when he created this collection or maybe he was inspired by big foot or maybe a trip to aspen, or maybe with the warmth of this collection the Himalayas! It was exciting to see this fashion show it seemed as if Karl Took an iceberg and put it on the runway and the girls were walking on water.

Celine:

Balmain:
Balmain Rocks literately, this is definitely a Party Rock collection, Christophe Decarnin always brings bold shoulders and glitter, one of the celebrities favorite.

Paris Fashion week Fall/Winter 2010

Alexander Mcqueen:
I wanted to start Paris Fashion week with Alexander Mcqueen, I was excited to see this collection and glad that the company decided to show part of his legacy that will hopefully live on. This collection was inspired by medieval paintings, it was poetic, it had a sense of romanticism, and melancholy. It seemed as if Mcqueen was stepping out of the technology and futurism of his latest collections. and was inspired more by art than technology.

Akris:

Balenciaga:
Nicolas Ghesquiere created a bright futuristic fall season, he always proves that he never takes a step back he always lives in the future. Amazing collection!
